Skyline is seeking a New Jersey based Non-Union Stage Manager

Skyline Theatre Company, a New Jersey Non-profit theatre company performing in Fair Lawn, NJ, is seeking a New Jersey based non-union stage manager for its upcoming productions of That Yankee Doodle Boy, the life and music of George M. Cohan and David Sedaris’ SantaLand Diaries. Yankee Doodle Boy rehearses various dates August 26-Sept 26 with performances Sept. 27-29 and SantaLand Diaries rehearses various dates Nov. 18- Dec. 7 with one performance Sept. 8. Rehearsals in NYC and NJ with all tech and performances in NJ. SM will run rehearsals, coordinate schedule, call the show and run the lighting board. Stipend provided. Skyline seeking a Social Media Director

Skyline Theatre Company is seeking an extremely creative digital storyteller and strategic online marketer to develop, implement, track and optimize all of the theater's digital campaigns. This Social Media Director is a part-time position and reports to Skyline’s Marketing Director.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Content Management and Creation
•       The Digital Media and Content Coordinator will work to create and/or manage the creation of, appropriate content for the theater’s website, e-blasts, social media and other marketing efforts.
•       Create and maintain a photo and video library of Skyline Theatre Company mainstage productions, education programs and special events.
•       Produce multimedia content to engage consumers on multiple platforms including, but not limited to: video, podcasts, blogs, articles and social media presentations.
•       Work with Skyline’s Marketing and Artistic Directors to coordinate the creation of all promotional videos, including show footage (b-roll) from conception and storyboarding to completion.
Social Media
•       Create exciting social media content with a connection to the mission of the institution that will generate high levels of engagement. Current Platforms: Facebook, Twitter, lnstagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
•       Work with partner agencies to implement strategic Facebook Ad campaigns to drive attendance, revenues and promote Skyline’s theatrical productions, special events, education classes, fundraising initiatives, news and more.
•       Ability to tie Skyline Theatre Company’s related content within trending social media conversations and topics.
•       Respond appropriately to consumers reaching out to the theater on social media networks in a timely matter.
•       Provide analytical data to support new and ongoing campaigns for optimal ROI.
Website Administration
•       Manage the day-to-day upkeep of the theater's website, including updating text, links, photos, embedded videos, uploading documents and forms, and more.
•       Monitor Skyline’s search engine optimization and google ranking to ensure the best possible placement in search engines.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have 1 year of experience in an arts-related industry managing social media and content creation.
•       Has a passion for theater.
•       Highly creative with a proven track record in creating and executing multimedia campaigns that meet or exceed sales goals, while reaching high levels of engagement.
•       Must be comfortable managing ad budgets for all multimedia projects and ad campaigns, tracking performance and reporting on results.
•       Proficiency in: Facebook Power Editor, Adobe Suite (Photoshop/After Effects/Premiere Pro) or Apple equivalent, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, website administration.
•       Should exhibit a high degree of organization (both project oriented and a multi-tasker), attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
•       Positive can-do attitude; ability to lead a project from conception to completion.
•       Enjoys working collaboratively as a team.
•       Photography, videography and graphic design experience are a plus.
•       Ability to work on select weekday evenings and weekends.

Skyline is seeking a Business Manager

Skyline Theatre Company is seeking an extremely organized and strategic planner to manage all of the theater's business affairs including accounts payable, accounts receivable, assist in budget preparation and banking. This Business Manager is a part-time position and reports to Skyline’s Managing Director.
About Skyline Theatre Company

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
•Responsible for consistent achievement of Skyline Theatre Company’s mission and financial objectives.
•Reports to the Board of Directors and works in partnership with the Artistic Director and Skyline’s executive team.
•Responsibility for financial management and strategic planning.
•Preparing financial reports and budgeting for Skyline’s season, individual shows, projects and grants
•Staff and Performer payroll, billing and preparing financial information for Skyline’s accountant.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have 1 year of experience in an arts-related industry managing business affairs and financial management.
•Has a passion for theater.
• Must be comfortable managing creating and managing budgets for all projects.
•Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel and bookkeeping software

Skyline is seeking a Front of House/Box Office Coordinator

Skyline Theatre Company, is currently seeking a Front of House/Box Office Coordinator to oversee events within our season.
General duties include:
•Scheduling of Front of House staff for all events and box office hours.
•Respond to emails, calls and voicemails
•Maintain financial records and cash reconciliation for box office, concessions, merchandise and petty cash
•Present pleasant, efficient and friendly customer service
•Clerical duties including data entry, reporting, filing, basic record-keeping and miscellaneous office/administrative work
•Ordering of supplies

Front of House duties and responsibilities:
•Delegating staff ushering positions and responsibilities
•Event coordination between artist(s)/client(s), back-of-house crew, box office and custodial staffs from arrival to departure
•Supervise ushers including the seating of patrons, ticket ripping and program distrobution
•Accommodate patron service requests
•Prepare lobby as needed for each event: concessions, merchandise, reception, check-ins, etc.

Box Office duties and responsibilities:
•Cover shifts as needed
•Fulfill artists comps as contracted
•Secure and input ticket order form requests
•Attend all events

Requirements:
•Administrative experience
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Desire to work in an non-profit theatre environment with the ability to multitask
•Flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented and proactive
•Collaborative spirit and sense of humor
•Industry knowledge and/or passion for the arts a plus
