Skyline Theatre Company’s Health and Safety COVID-19 Protocols

Skyline Theatre Company is committed to keeping our audiences, performers, staff, technical partners and designers, volunteers, and all other on-site personnel safe.

We are partnering with our friends at the Fair Lawn Community Center to ensure our entire space is safe. While they are responsible for the overall facilities, our Skyline staff will serve as an extra layer of health and safety and will report any and all concerns to the FLCC staff, as per our operating guidelines. We will be following guidance from the Fair Lawn Health Department and the CDC.

To ensure your experience is safe and you are comfortable during your time with us, Skyline has implemented several COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

  • Everyone over the age of two must wear a face mask to enter any and all FLCC building entrances, exits and  while in all public areas.
  • Skyline Theatre staff, technical partners and volunteers are required to wear a face mask at all times.
  • All Skyline Theatre performers must be fully vaccinated and wear their face masks when they are away from the stage and wings, including backstage and dressing areas.
  • Everyone should practice recommended social distancing guidelines during their time inside FLCC including backstage, hallways, the lobby, restrooms, etc.
  • In addition to using hand sanitizing stations throughout FLCC, everyone is encouraged to wash their hands regularly while at the theatre.
  • If you are feeling ill, we ask that you refrain from attending the performance and visit us when you are feeling healthy.

COVID-19 is extremely contagious and an inherent risk in all public locations where people are present. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. People who show no symptoms can spread the coronavirus if they are infected and any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Skyline Theatre Company has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. By attending Skyline Theatre, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19 and agree not to hold Skyline Theatre Company; or any of its affiliates, employees, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

Thank you to our COVID-19 testing sponsor, New Bridge Medical Center!

Skyline Theatre Company would like to extend special thanks to New Bridge Medical Center for their generous partnership, offering free tests to performers, stage crew, and staff associated with Skyline productions in 2021 and 2022. Thank you, New Bridge!
